In plain language: your result belongs to you. We never share it with your school or your employer. We never sell any data, to anyone. We use no advertising cookies, and our audience statistics run on our own server, cookie-free. If you want your data corrected or deleted, one email is enough.

Data we collect

Email address — to create your account and sign you in with a magic link.
Diagnostic answers and profile (role, learners, subject, experience, setting, goal) — to compute your score and generate your plan.
Score, level and generated plan — for display, history and progress tracking.
Payment data — processed exclusively by Stripe; we never store card details.
Minimal technical data required to operate the service.
Anonymous usage statistics — measured with Matomo, an audience tool we host on our own server. It uses no cookies, anonymizes IP addresses, and its data is never shared with any third party.

Purposes and legal bases

Providing the service and generating your plan — performance of the contract.
Authentication and account security — performance of the contract.
Billing and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
Service improvement — legitimate interest.

Processors

Data is processed by providers acting on our behalf:

Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
Stripe — payment processing.
Brevo — transactional emails (sign-in link).
Anthropic — AI generation of your personalized plan.
Hostinger — hosting of the website and of our self-hosted audience statistics (European servers).

Some providers may process data outside the European Union (notably Anthropic, in the United States). Such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and restriction. To exercise them, write to contact@walktheai.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL — cnil.fr).

Cookies and local storage

This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Only technical local storage, required for authentication, is used to maintain your session. Audience measurement relies on Matomo, self-hosted on our own server, configured without cookies and with IP anonymization — which is why no cookie banner is needed.

Age

The service is designed for education professionals and is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
